I brought my car in for an alignment adjustment. They said my coilover was off by one rotation and couldn’t do the alignment service. And before coming to the shop, my windshield was fine. But when returning to get my car, they caused a cracked on my windshield. So not only I didn’t get the alignment adjustment, had a broken windshield, but also had to pay for a windshield replacement with my own money. They didn’t want to take responsibility for the accident. Never coming back again.

Archie and Darren are awesome I wanted all-terrain tires on my BMW and it’s not usual so they had to look for them for me and they are willing to work with you and suggest options. Friendly service not like the typical car people.(based on my experience.😂) I will continue to support them for my oil change or safety inspection I don’t know why I just found them. They respect your time so that you don’t wait hundred years for the service to be done.

My son just left Midas (kapahulu) and I wanted to take a quick moment to leave a kind review. I've been going to a local car auto repair and gas station in Kaimuki on and off since I was just out of high school ( Im not 51) . Instead of me leaving a negative review for that place of service I thought I would spend my energy on a kind review for this location that helped my son and was honest. I had my son take his car to the 'other service station ' for a simple safety check and he came home with a big list of repairs needed. I told him to get a second opinion as we JUST got new tires at Costco and I feel like they would have mentioned if his pads etc looked off. Something didn't feel right. My son is a 20 year struggling student, and myself a single Mother of 3. He told them I had been going there for over 30+ years and they still gave him an estimate for things that were not needed. I told him to go to Midas to get a second opinion and get his safety. They were so honest and told him his brakes were fine (and other things) and to come back for his normal servicing when it was due. This means alot to know there are still honest mechanics out there and Im bummed and always want to support local family owned 'and run' businesses but Midas just got a new household of 3 cars to switch! Thank you for your honesty and fair and fast service! As a business owner myself, I know this will always bring more business in the long run. Mahalo & Happy New Year!
