I want to start this off with that this is no longer Medina Tire Service, and is under new ownership of ProTech Auto NJ. I had my front and rear brakes serviced here. When I picked up my vehicle, one rim and the door frame adjacent to it, were covered in a gritty residue that was not present before the service. Because it was raining at the time, I initially thought it might be mud or road dirt. After going through a car wash and attempting to clean it by hand, the residue would not come off and the surface feels rough, almost like sandpaper. I called the shop right away to make them aware, and returned the following day to show them the issue. I was told the condition of the rim was due to me “not having brakes left” when I brought the car in. When I asked why the issue would only appear on one wheel if that were the case, I did not receive a clear answer. Unfortunately, no effort was made to investigate the issue further or to help resolve it. I documented the condition with photos and filed a police report so there is an official record of the damage. I am sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision. If the shop is willing to take another look at the vehicle and work toward resolving the damage, I would be open to updating this review.
