Maxwell & Keyser Plumbing-Heating

On 1/23/25 they replaced approx 2 1/2 inch pipe, a shut off valve and a water faucet short of 100.00 in material, They completed the entire job in approx 45 mins total, They had to leave and get parts. The time they spent from start to finish , this includes them going to get supplies was approximately 2hrs they charged 667.00. I do not recommend them to nobody, they will over charge you. They charge us 567.00 for a 45min job. Do Not Recommend.

I WOULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS BUT IT WILL NOT LET ME Do not use this company, Got a quote then charged $700.00 more for re piping and copper under my home . He knocked off $400.00 due to them leaving all the old pipes under my house and charging me to replace my whole house filter system that was only a year old After paying found out that they hooked up my domestic lines from my boiler and have no hot water going to my sinks and tubs. Within the last 2-3 years my 75 year old mother needed a water heater replaced and she can't go up and down stairs much anymore. She has been using Maxwell and Keyser since the 1980s. This year it began having problems and they charged her over $300 and if they did anything we don't know what. She called them to tell them that and they wanted another $300 just to come out again. We called someone else who pointed out that they installed a water heater from 2015! Now she has to buy another water heater because this one has already rusted and leaks from being in storage so long.

Don’t do business with Maxwell & Plumbing and Heating unless you want to get taken advantage of and overcharged!!! On January 22nd they came out and fixed our PVC pipe that had a crack in it. It was less than 30 minutes of work. Two men showed up for what I’ve been told is a one man job. They arrived at 9:41 AM and left at 11:51 AM. During those 2 hours, they left to get supplies to do the job. I have proof of when they came and left, which I provided to the manager, from my ring doorbell. This is the best company then I have ever dealt with. I had a leaking hot water heater so I went to their office when they opened at 8. I chatted with a couple of his crew while he was getting their work assignments ready then when he got to me it was like visiting family. John is an outstanding individual. I told him my issues with my hot water tank and his men were leaving my house at 12 after installing a new water heater and doing a perfect job. I would recommend them to anyone wanting the kind of service people gave in the past. The price was reasonable for a good quality water heater.
