Maui Cell Phone Repair

I brought my phone to Maui Cell Phone Repair to fix a simple issue with the power button. What should’ve been a quick repair turned into a month-long headache. After dropping it off, I didn’t hear anything for over a week. I had to call them, only to be told the part they ordered was wrong. Another week went by — still nothing — and when I called again, they admitted they ordered the wrong part a second time. Finally, after weeks of silence, they said the right part came in. I dropped off my phone again, and while the power button was fixed, my speakers were suddenly blown when I picked it up. They admitted it “could’ve been” their fault and promised to order a replacement speaker. It’s now been over a month with no update, no call, no message — nothing. At this point, I had to buy a new phone. I could’ve saved the time, stress This experience was a complete waste of time and money. The lack of communication and accountability was disappointing. I would not recommend this shop to anyone looking for professional or timely service.

They replaced my screen without approval to do so. When I dropped off my phone for diagnostic, they just replaced screen, such was a good news at that moment cause I was thinking my phone is dead. Since I didn’t approve replacement right away, I purchased new phone right away and unapproved repair cost was 390$. Had to cancel new phone purchase. The new screen itself looks amazing, but later on, I found out additionally I need spend another 160$ to replace frontal camera, that was also damaged, but wasn’t diagnose at the beginning, so now my screen working no sensitive as original one,+ my frontal camera is not working, so I have to spend additional money, and they didn’t tell you when they should in the beginning, before proceed with repair,customer need to know side affects when screen is not original, and how that might affect the sensitivity. + diagnostic wasn’t happen in the beginning how it should. If I knew in the beginning that to repair my phone would be cost 560$ with low sensitivity of my screen, I would just purchase a new phone. Disappointed . Please do better next time. Also, there is authorized repaired shop by Apple, they can replace original screen under manufacture warranty, no one told me that in the shop. Please be Aloha with next customers.
