Joy Upholstery

We decided to recover a chair and a half since we couldn’t find a new one in a fabric that we liked. We have cats and needed a firm tightly woven fabric that wouldn’t encourage scratching. Joy Upholstery did a fabulous job in a short time frame since we are listing our house and needed it back for photos. They improved the original design by making the back cushion separate rather than attached to the frame, added a lining to that cushion and put heavier fabric under the chair that our cats wouldn’t scratch up. We couldn’t find a new chair this wonderful for anywhere close to the cost. Before and after photos below!

Did a wonderful job reupholstering a mid century arm chair. They centered and matched the stripes on the fabric beautifully and created a brand new back cushion (the original was missing). Included before (yellow) and after (purple) pics. Pricing was very fair and turnaround fast!

They do excellent work! He just made a custom bench cushion for my son’s room that is over 10 ft long. His pricing is fair, it only took a couple weeks and the work is top notch. We will definitely use him again for more projects.
