I have been sitting on a stack of 35 mm film for 3 years and quickly after moving to the area found this place. They developed my stack and when one came up undeveloped they gave me a coupon for a whole other roll! Im so happy with the product and how carefully they handled it. And happy to say this is now my #1 photo shop :)
Mark and Mace are INCREDIBLE helpful. They just spent over half an hour talking over my issues with photography (I am brand new to the hobby) and helped me through every single issue I’ve been having, and even showed me how to fix each problem. They were very kind and patient, I will absolutely recommend this shop to anyone who will listen!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’ve been going to Jack’s Cameras in Exton for years — originally just to stock up on 600 Polaroid film — and everyone there has always been so kind and helpful. More recently I (like half the world, apparently) got interested in the Canon G7X mark iii. After getting some great advice from the team, I decided to rent one from a company online, and then asked to be added to their waitlist to buy. I know how in demand this camera is, so I was hoping a few months. I got the call way sooner than I expected!
The tall gentleman who works there usually helps me and is seriously the best — super friendly, knowledgeable, and just easy to talk to. As I was checking out, we were chatting about the ridiculous online price gouging, and he said, “Yeah, we’re just not that kind of company!” — and that’s exactly why I’ll always shop here. Fair, honest, and such great service. 10/10 recommend!
It's great to have a local place to buy and develop 35mm film. High res scans are worth it, and prices are very fair. You could mail your film off to a lab somewhere else and wait days, or you can drop your (color) roll off here and have it scanned and emailed to you in about 1 hour. Black and white film needs to be mailed out though, but they can handle that for you. I've included some examples off a roll of Kodak Gold I had developed and scanned here.
