I rarely post reviews, but I wanted to give J R’s a shoutout for exceptional service!! I called last minute in dire need of a brake pad and rotor replacement within 1 hour of closing and the team was able to squeeze me in. The prices were extremely fair and the service was super quick. Highly recommend, I will definitely be back for routine maintenance.
What a great team this place has. I was passing through town and in an “emergent” state. They got me in right away so I could be on my way. Very thankful for this group of people. I would highly recommend getting your vehicle serviced here.
I've been going here for a very long time, and everyone that works here is always very professional and kind! They always get me in asap and do a great job fixing whatever issues my car has in a timely manner. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great, trustworthy mechanic shop in town.
I’ve had quite a bit of work done at JR’s over the past 6 months or so (everything from an oil leak to a brake job). Every time I’ve needed work done, they have always done a great job. They are very kind, honest, and they offer pretty fair prices. They have always been able to get me in within a reasonable amount of time, and they have always gotten my car fixed quickly. I just had my master cylinder and brake booster replaced by them, and they were able to get me in a couple of days earlier than originally planned. They were very diligent about ensuring the problem was fixed before charging me. Josh is very kind and wants to actually fix your vehicle rather than just doing random stuff and charging you for it. Overall, it is a great place to get your vehicle fixed!
Brought my 2015 F-350 in for a radiator issue. JR's replaced the water pump and radiator hose. I thought they had done a great job, they even said they found some places where bolts were missing and replaced them. However, when my truck broke down in Albuquerque a day later (unrelated issue), the Ford dealership mechanic said the water pump wasn't installed correctly. 2 bolts were missing, and 3 weren't fully installed. When I called JR's to ask them to take care of it, Mandy said I had to bring it back to them, which is fair enough. However, the truck isn't driveable, especially for over 3 hours to get back to Alamogordo. She said I could have it towed back, which is completely unreasonable. I had pictures, along with a certified Ford dealership mechanic saying there was an issue, and Mandy wasn't willing to work with me at all. I'm disappointed about the poor workmanship, and even more disappointed about the customer service.
