Island Transformations

I strongly advise against using Island Transformations, especially if you are not on Oahu. Their website claims they service the Big Island, and I provided my exact address when booking. I took a full day off work to wait for the contractor, only to get a text saying he was on Oahu and his mom had messed up the scheduling. ​When I asked how we could resolve it, the owner, Tom, sent a massive text full of excuses, including that he 'almost chopped off his big toe, and admitted they actually only visit the outer islands once or twice a year. To make matters worse, he then tried to upcharge me to cover his travel expenses so he could prioritize fixing his own scheduling mistake, and literally 'thumbed up' his own message. Incredibly unprofessional, unreliable, and a massive waste of my time. Hire someone local instead.

I was very INSPIRED!! I enjoyed my experience with Island Transformations again! When I moved into my last apartment and the kitchen needed a renovation, Island Transformations were suggested to me by a qualified friend. They came and completely resurfaced my durable quartz marble lookalike countertops! They repaired all of the leaks and ugly mildew damage in only one day! I was so excited that I forgot to leave a review! I just reunited with these pros to remodel my 1 1/2 bath condo and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They were extremely professional, personable and punctual! Island Transformations is a great team and I will certainly recommend them to anyone looking to repair their kitchen or bathroom in an affordable, timely and hassle free way- Thank You, Tom, for everything- your hard work is appreciated!
