Things can go wrong in a repair, but let me start by saying I’m thrilled with the final outcome despite the time it took. I had an iPad Pro screen replacement done and the repair turned into more of a saga than anyone expected. After the initial repair, Face ID stopped working. A couple follow-up attempts had other issues like screen defects and touch problems near the edges. So the process definitely took longer than either of us anticipated. I tried to stay patient and give them the opportunity to make it right, and in the end they absolutely did. What matters to me is how a business handles it when something doesn’t go perfectly. The owner stood behind his work the entire time and kept working toward a solution. In the end he replaced the iPad with a refurbished unit, included a brand new case, and even gave me a gift card for the inconvenience. Another thing I appreciated was the mobile service. I never had to go to a shop. The owner personally picked up the iPad from me and brought it back, which made the whole process much easier. That level of accountability and customer service goes a long way with me. I appreciate that he honored his word and made it right.
