Edit: Unfortunately, the caustic treatment didn’t work. Don, Lisa, Emily, and Monica advised me and helped me find a credit union to get a second on my home to get a new drain field. The process took over a month, almost two,but Idaho Septic Solutions kept my septic tank pumped and even though we had to conserve water and whatnot, we could comfortably live in our home. When it came time to actually do the work, they were amazing! They got the whole thing done in less than 2 days! Well, all of one day, then a couple of hours the second day, and then about an hour on the third day, after inspection, to fill in and that’s it! With very little, if any, disruption to my home and we never lost the ability to comfortably do what we needed to do in our home. Not only that, they added a riser to my septic tank and replaced a yard hydrant, all at my request, and still came in a few thousand dollars under what I expected to pay. And Devin was out here finishing up the morning he and his wife were due to have a baby! He already had scheduled the day off but he was here for us which is above and beyond! They took off the $2,300 that we spent trying the caustic treatment just like they said they would and even sent me a $40 coupon to also use. They did everything in their power to give us the best system we could get at an affordable price. I will recommend these people to anybody, any time, they are just that good. I have a septic system that has been giving me problems for several months. I had a couple of different companies come out and all they could do was pump it and say maybe your drain field is failing. Suddenly we had water backing up into the house. We found Idaho Septic Solutions and decided to give them a call. I called on a Monday and they were able to get out to look at it the same day. Don came out and did an inspection and said that indeed my drain field was failing. But instead of going right to needing a new $15,000 to $20,000 drain field, he had an option of a caustic treatment to try…at a much lower cost of only $2,300. Although this isn’t guaranteed to work and we won’t know for sure for about a week, if it doesn’t work (it just doesn’t about 20 percent of the time) the $2,300 would be taken off the total of a drain field replacement so I wouldn’t be out the $2,300 and then another $15,000 or more on top of that. So no brainer! I’m not really out any money for trying to save the drain field. This was on a Monday and they were out at 9:00 am sharp two days later. Don brought all the manpower he needed and they were finished with it all by 1:00 pm. There were 3 trucks and 5 people who descended on my yard and got it done with efficiency and professionalism. Each and every one of them said hello and introduced themselves to me. Also, Don took the time to answer each and every one of my questions with patience and kindness. He even explained how exactly a septic system worked. I’m not sure the other companies knew how it worked themselves, much less be able to explain it to me. I am so impressed with this whole team of professionals! And Lisa in the office and all her staff are amazing as well. They are on top of thing and able to juggle their schedules and all their teams. It is summer and their busy time so I expected having to wait at least a week or so but they were able to make room for us. I can’t believe they were able to diagnose and treat the very significant problem all in 48 hours. I can’t say enough good things about this company. I will only be calling them for all my septic pumping and any other septic issues I may have.
