If I could give a 0 star I would. The quote was MUCH higher than I I itially quoted and the work was shoty at best. It took weeks to get a 8 x 14 addition wired and plumbed. We had all.of the appliances ready before they started and then they placed 2 electricity pluggs behind a refrigerator instead of down the hallway. They electric outlets were placed 1 foot off the floor inside where we told them cabinets were going. And then I had to take a day off from work to go down there to get anyone to talk to me, because they wouldn't return messages to call me back. I would NOT recommend them to anyone and I will Cerainly NOT use them again.
We had a great experience working with Hay-Bush! Price was fair and the work was done quickly and efficiently. We had a total gut and so we had to have EVERYTHING new installed and Seth and his team had the entire job done in one day! I would 100% recommend them to anyone I know. We just bought another house and will call them to do any future work we may need.
During a deep freeze, we had issues with our furnace I called 2 HVAC services in town. Hay Bush the first to get back to me. The technician came out looked at the furnace saw orange flames turned around and told me we cannot use this furnace. And even proceeded to bash another HVAC company we had used before in town . No investigation was done about the cause of the orange flame which there are many reasons for an orange flame in a furnace, many repairable, the orange flame is dangerous because it can release carbon monoxide, but since my fully functioning carbon monoxide detectors weren’t beeping, I didn’t believe the scenario that I was given the tech proceeded to tell me we needed a new furnace again after not investigating a cause of the orange flame because it was in the negative degrees outside I was adamant that he just order us a new furnace, which I believed would be quickly attended to. the next day heard nothing about the status of the furnace or anything. Our house was now 37° and we were worried about our pipes freezing and having a very expensive plumbing repair. I called some HVAC service about a way of getting a furnace faster than Hay bush is apparently going to do? many companies in the area were getting calls about furnaces that were not operating. Hey Bush told me we were on the top of the list since were customers with no heat. Wednesday arrived. I called spoke to a secretary, explained that we were waiting for a furnace and our house was freezing. She didn’t seem to care only that notice I was unhappy and wanted to know if I wanted to cancel my order then said the manager would get back to me, it was six hours later when someone got back to me but we already had a furnace delivered and another HVAC technician with another company here putting it in Our experience with this company years ago was also horrible. Our plumbing jobs kept getting booted by emergencies ended up taking twice as long, the job was something that would take half a day took several visits to complete. Service is not a priority with hay bush. You end up in a quagmire of other customers and not enough technicians and not availability to get equipment needed in a timely fashion especially in a high need environment. Neighbors of ours had a furnace die. They were told they need a new furnace now they’re waiting in a freezing, cold house and they’re senior citizens and I can’t believe that they have not been given priority by this company, since we have had fluctuating single digit temperatures for the last several days again service is not a priority with this company, apparently selling furnaces to people that probably only need a repair. Many parts and older furnaces are difficult to get but many problems are repairable. In this throw away culture it’s no wonder these companies just want to sell you new equipment and not a lot of people can afford to buy a new furnace which is very unfortunate because they are expensive.
