I had thought about replacing my 50 year old cast iron tub when I had the wall tiles replaced, but new cast iron tubs are very expensive not only to purchase but to have installed, not to mention getting the old one removed. It occurred to me to find out about refinishing, and, ta-dum! Al Lugus and Global Refinishing! My tub looks as new as the tile now, at a quarter of the cost of replacement. Thanks, Al!
Al refinished our very old, rundown and lead positive tub. His communication was prompt and he was a pleasure to work with. He kept the workspace meticulous and my tub looks brand new. I highly recommend him.
Al was thorough, quiet, and friendly. He fit us in on a Saturday while we were home. He refinished a claw foot tub that tested positive for lead paint. We can now give our toddler a bath in the refinished tub with piece of mind.
