I highly recommend Glastonbury Vacuums in the Putnam Bridge Plaza for repair and purchase of vacuums and supplies. :) I have always liked to support small businesses, but I especially like to support small businesses that do quality professional work with the addition of wonderful customer service. Both Joshua and Austin have treated me with the utmost care throughout the time that I have done business there. It is really wonderful to have my vacuum feel like new all over again, and I will look forward to continuing to do any future vacuum related business at this shop. Most of all, I will not forget how I have been treated with such memorable kindness and I am very grateful. :)

We had a lightning strike that disabled our central vacuum. The company that originally installed the vacuum was no longer in business. We saw the good reviews on google and decided to give them a try. We were met in the Glastonbury store by Anthony. He was very helpful and we opted to have Joshua (owner) come to our house for an evaluation. Joshua arrived on time and provided great customer service. He explained our options in a way that we understood. We selected the replacement option. Joshua brought the unit same day and installed it, since had it in his inventory. Our old unit had been discontinued. He provided Cental Vac training 101 to us, so we knew how to change filters and attach the hoses. He was very patient and friendly. Excellent customer service. He will be our go to if needed in the future and recommend him.

I brought my broken blow dryer which needed a new cord. I was immediately greeted by Josh who explained he would do his best to repair the item - as they do not just repair vacuums! I received a call the same day from Josh explaining the research he had done and that he was going to attempt the repair - he stated if it did not work he would not charge me. I received a call 2 days later that the repair was complete and my blow dryer was again working. I would highly recommend this business. Prompt and professional.

Went into Glastonbury vacuum and more this morning to purchase some vacuum cleaner bags for my vacuum. Met the new owner, Josh and was pleasantly surprised. Josh was awesome! Personable, informative, professional, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. Glastonbury vacuum store has been renovated and is nicely organized. I Highly recommend Josh and his team! I will continue to purchase from my local store.
