Garden State Garage Doors

If I could give a zero stars I would. I purchased a custom color garage door in July, 2022 for over $2,000. I chose this company over other companies, due to the fact he said warranty and close to home. Well fast forward to November 2025, start having a problem with the garage not closing right before Thanksgiving, give them a call. Told I would have to wait until today Monday, December 1, 2025 and not to use the garage until they came. I was upset, had company coming, what was I going to do. They came today charged me a service fee of $89.00 to repair the Liftmaster and get the garage door working, but when the problem happened with the my liftmaster it damaged the bottom of my door. He told my husband he would give him a quote to repair the cosmetic damage. I called the company so upset, this is a 3 year old garage door and no fault of my or my husband's that this garage door malfunctioned and caused the damage. They said my door is out of warranty. Really that is the way you treat a customer that spent over $2,000 on a 3 year old door. I will tell everyone I know that you do not care for your customers and not to use your company and especially in my association. I'm very upset, I chose you because when I met you, you said 24/7 service, warranty. Update Charlie the owner called me and told me how disappointed he was in me and my review. I told him how dissappointed I was with him. He proceeded to tell me that I tinkered with the garage door and if I say I did not I need to go to church and that my husband put some goop on the door. We did not tinker with the garage door and the only goop my husband put on the door was WD40. I was so upset with someone basically speaking to me in his tone and basically calling us liars. I hung the phone up on him, because I deserved to be treated with respect. I don't know if Charlie would have liked someone to talking to his wife or daughter in his tone. Yes I raised my voice, when he started conversation like with how dissappointed he was in me, like I was his child. When he called back after I hung up, I let my husband answer the phone, because he had me so upset. The door you came out to repair is still not coming down smoothly like it should and yes you are correct the liftmaster warranty is only 1 year. I am getting another company to come out and give me an estimate on the cost to repair the door properly.
