This was hands down one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I called ahead to confirm they work on PlayStation 5 consoles and was told yes. When I came in, I wasn’t greeted at all and had to approach the guy at the counter myself. He was cold, unfriendly, and clearly uninterested in helping. I paid a $60 “diagnostic” deposit immediately, and while running my card was asked if I wanted to tip—before any service was provided. When I declined and said I prefer to tip after service, I was met with visible irritation. Red flag #1. After taking my money, he gave me no information about timelines, expectations, or total repair cost. I had to drag basic details out of him. I was told I might hear something by Wednesday, but then heard absolutely nothing for over a week and a half. Texts went unanswered. When I finally called for an update, he acted annoyed that I had the audacity to ask what was going on with my PlayStation. Weeks went by with no proactive communication. I was repeatedly told it was “with the technician,” only to later be informed that the power supply repair didn’t work and that the diagnostics were wrong—more than once. So what exactly did the $60 diagnostic fee pay for? Because accuracy wasn’t it. After over a month, I finally received a message saying my ticket was closed and I could pick up my console. When I arrived, the same employee coldly told me they couldn’t fix it—no apology, no explanation—then handed it back without the power cord. When I said the cord was included at drop-off, he shrugged and said he didn’t know where it was because they’d had it “so long.” Not my problem. After clearly inconveniencing him, he eventually found a cord and handed everything back without another word. To make matters worse, I watched him treat another customer dropping off a phone with the same dismissive attitude and vague answers. This seems to be a pattern, not a one-off. I waited over a month, paid $60 for inaccurate diagnostics, and got my PS5 back in the exact same condition I dropped it off—minus my patience. I will never return and strongly recommend going literally anywhere else. The 4.7-star rating is baffling.
