Bryce Balcer and his team at foundation specialists were top notch. They promptly came out to check on the work that needed to be done. He quickly assessed the problem, was fair and reasonable with the quote on the work and laid out the process exactly as it was done. They were quick to get us on the schedule. Weather impacted scheduling a tad, but his team was excellent with the communication so we could schedule other work that needed to be done around it. The people doing the work were very nice, knowledgeable and kept an extremely clean workspace during and after completion of the project. I highly recommend Foundation Specialists for any work needing to be done. They will take great care and pride in the work being done to your home from start to finish.

Would not recommend this company. Had many issues and discussed them with Jason. They tell you one thing, then something different the next time. The sales guy told me they would try to put my siding back, then later told me he would never tell anyone that. I specifically asked so I would know if that was something I would have to have done. He also told me if I smile pretty at the guys they will do some of it for free.. not professional at all. They threw away my outside dryer vent and left me without a dryer vent to the outside, did not share this with me. The communication was AWFUL! they shared nothing with me during the process of the job. They did replace some of the band boards and didn’t charge me extra from my quote. But then tried to tell me since they did that it made up for the other stuff. I did appreciate the board being replaced at no extra cost but not that they acted like that was ok for the other stuff that they either threw away or left unfinished. They left tools in my yard and cut up roots from my tree and left them all over. When I was replacing insulation in my basement, I found where the old and new boards met and there was a large gap that you can see to the outside. You truly can’t hire anyone that takes pride in their work and it’s sad. My experience with them was not the best. Update since they responded: their response is not accurate either. I’m still waiting on a return call. Called and texted Brian on 12/29, he said he would call me the next day… and Im still waiting. Have not received a call to get this resolved. I texted him today and called him. Still waiting for a return call to get this issue resolved.

Unfortunately, our experience was similar to the other recent review, and we also had Bryce and Jason managing. Deposit paid Aug. 5th, permit approved Sept. 4th, work started October 15th, worksite sat empty more days than not, and Dec. 1st informed they would not be able to finish this season. The house is now unrentable over the winter, costing us thousands in revenue. Agreed to an extra $10k once work started. Final cost was another $4k over. Told us they'd waive $1k they forgot to put on the estimate if we paid to fix the three holes in the siding but claim to not remember this. House was left unlocked and doors and windows left wide open twice in the November rain for days.

I had a fantastic experience with the team at Foundation Specialist who installed carbon fiber strips on one of my foundation walls that was tipping and cracking. I got several quotes for the job, but Mike's knowledge, professionalism, and willingness to answer my endless questions (even after our meeting) stood out. Jason & Macy were super helpful at getting me on the schedule, getting the permit from my township, & setting up the inspection (which passed with flying colors today). I'm pretty sure Ernie, Silas, and Tom left my basement cleaner than it was at the start of the project too. The three of them did a great job. I especially appreciated how Ernie did a thorough walk thru explanation with me at the start & finish of the project. I received excellent customer service from the beginning to the end. Highly recommend!
