Eugene is the best, his attention to detail and explanation of how some modern pieces are sewn to limit repair and the workarounds he can do. He's responsible for saving many of my one of a kind-ish vintage pieces from the landfill.

This cobbler is a miracle worker. He has saved many of my shoes. The biggest repair he ever did for me was rebuilding the heel to a harness boot; the original was plastic and broke into pieces. He rebuilt the new heel by sculpting leather. If you have never had your shoes fixed up by a cobbler and wish to save money in the long run by fixing what you already own; Eugene is the guy to go to.

Very pleasant experience! I took two pairs of boots to have protective soles applied. One of the pairs had very very thin bottoms to begin with and I was anxious the sock material would be damaged with adhesive if not done properly. I was very happy upon receiving the finished product. The protective sole was applied carefully with the edges sealed off seamlessly. The prices were a little more than what I’m used to paying (~$30 per pair) but I am pleased with the result and the pleasant customer service. I’ll be coming back to support this local shop.
