I had flooding in my basement due to a water main break, Steve was out to assess within hours of my reaching out. While I ultimately could not go with DryMaster due to my insurance company's vendor approval, I want to state that Steve was prompt, professional and just really nice! He was ready to get his team out the next morning for mitigation.
It took me a while because of family circumstances to write this review but, I do not recommended this company what so ever. I missed all of the true reviews and felt displeased. It took 2 months to remodel a bathroom that was caused by a small flood and during this time I was displaced with my family in a hotel for 2 months for a bathroom the size of a closet that took them a week to do so the time was dragged to there convenience. The amount of dust that filled my belongings from the work since it was not properly contained was something I had to encounter several times and disinfect on my own. The cleaning company did nothing but lightly clean and destroyed my guitars and also used my cleaning supplies and destroyed them. Now 4 months later the caulking for the bathroom is cracking, the same flood from the work they did occurred again and there’s odds and ends I didn’t even realized such as missed spots are now appearing due to my lack of inspection.
Steve and the team at DryMaster are truly dedicated to their customers. At 2 a.m. last night, my washing machine overflowed, causing water to spread everywhere—even into my duct system and flooding my basement. To my surprise, they arrived just two hours later and immediately started the cleanup. Their quick response blew me away.
As a single mother with four kids, I was completely overwhelmed and had no idea what to do. They not only guided me through filing an insurance claim but also made sure I felt supported every step of the way. This was, by far, the best experience I’ve ever had with any company. Thank you so much, Steve and the entire DryMaster team—you turned a nightmare into a manageable situation, and I truly don’t know how to repay you!

My family and I were unfortunately victims of a house fire. We were displaced from our home and lost everything. We lost our dog to smoke inhalation and we were devastated but this was only the beginning of an already bad situation. when Steve from dry masters was referred to us, My wife and I, in our naivety agreed to have Steve and his people do the interior demo and put air scrubbers help with the smell. I wish we could of been of sound mind enough to research Drymasters. At first Steve seemed understanding and we thought everything was ok. So before the full demo started Steve and I did a walk through with my wife on video (since shes pregnant and cant inhale smoke) to see what we could salvageable. One of our rooms had the door closed and luckily for us only had some smoke damage, so we pointed out to Steve and a woman whom he introduced as "his partner" what we wanted and Steve would respond with "I will let my guys know". I smelled our coats and they didnt smell like smoke so i told them to put everything from that closet (my suits, my wife's wedding dress, outer wear, coats) in the storage pod only to find out later this wasnt done. The coats, shoes, jewelry we were missing was not in the dumpsters or the pod because I would check. This led me to believe someone helped themselves. Steve also took advantage and decided to use the dumpsters our insurance was paying for to dump his trash from other jobs without asking us first and we believe he wouldnt have said anything had we not brought it up. When i went to my house with my wife one day to see how things were going I walked in and saw a work bag that I normally kept in my basement office in our living room. When i checked it, it was half empty. Problem is until the fire investigator completed his investigation, the kitchen ( where the fire started) and basement were taped off and OFF LIMITS and Steve knew this. Our basement door is accessed through our kitchen so when i saw the basement door open i became concerned. When i walked through the basmt door to look around I immediately knew something was wrong because it was ransacked. I checked our egress window and saw that it was left unlocked. Almost as if someone wanted to come and go as they pleased because the only way to unlock this window is from the inside and we always kept this window and all other windows locked because of our toddler. A week earlier Steve and i had a walkthrough for th basmt, needless to say we only got a measly fraction of what we asked to be kept too. Instead we got bags of chips and sodas that could of been tossed, 2boxes of miscellaneous items and a chair that smells like smoke in our pod. For a while Steve had the keys to the pod until he gave my wife a key and kept the other. We just thought thats how it was. When we tried to bring these concerns up to Steve, about missing items and the ransacking, Steve became defensive and NEVER took accountability. He instead insisted "none" of his workers would ever do anything like this yet you say you "fired" one of your men, so which is it ? He told us he instructed his people that " if you see something valuable put it in the pod" but they understood differently i guess. Here's the thing, the only ones with access because we have a digital Keypad on our front door was Steve and his people and our adjuster no one else had the code to our door. Our adjuster lives a far away and always let us know when he was going by for any reason. Steve put air scrubbers and did the demolition submitted a 25+ page "invoice" to our insurance for paint, "cleaning", sanitizing which wasnt done at all. Complete scammers. Going through this experience has been mentally, physically and emotionally exhausting enough but have people treat our stuff like it was a free for all is low and makes it much worse. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this company, they definitely don't have your best interest at heart no matter the circumstances.
