Scott was super responsive, professional, knowledgable and fairly priced. He got our washer back up and running within an hour, and was realistic about the state of affairs in our old machine. I'd highly recommend him and will use him again if I ever need his services.
Well, here I am again giving Dorchester Appliance and Electric a perfect 5 star rating. Scott worked on our 14 yr old side by side refrigerator/freezer some months ago replacing the heater. Other repairmen had told us to buy a new one, but Scott fixed it at a very reasonable price. We gave him a 5 star rating then. Well, over the weekend our freezer and refrigerator sides started losing coldness. Recently bought milk had clabbored, etc. My husband left Scott a voice message, and today he came back out to see what he could do. We were fully prepared to purchase a new refrigerator, but Scott said the thermostat had stopped working. He had to unthaw a coil in order to replace the thermostat. Scott was here at least 2 hours making the repair. As he got ready to leave, my husband was going to write a check, but Scott said he wasn't charging for the repair. My husband was stunned by this, but Scott proved there are still good people in this world who "pay good deeds forward". We would never call anyone else to work on any of our appliances. A super good guy!!
