Blaire did a wonderful job replacing the old rollers (which involved a great deal of work to drill the old ones out) with new rollers. The old ones screwed in and were stripped so the wheels fell out and the person could fall. He did a great job with clean up and was very pleasant. I would recommend him highly.
Designs by Blaire reupholstered my headboard beautifully. The craftsmanship is excellent, and it fits my décor perfectly. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out — highly recommend!
Blaire did an amazing job recovering our boat upholstery!!! This is an older offshore boat and it would have been difficult to buy exact seat replacements. Blaire has a ton of choices for both the fabric and seat trim. While we looked over the choices, he took all the measurements and then called the supply company to confirm they had everything in stock. This took maybe an hour total- it was a much easier process than we expected! Blaire took the seats apart and basically built brand-new seats with the metal bases. He replaced the broken and rotten wooden pieces inside of the seats with a thick resin base that should last forever. He replaced all of the seat foam, and did an absolutely IMPECCABLE job with the reupholstery stitching and trim on the seats! Two of the seats are back to back and he made sure everything lined up perfectly. He also added fabric around the metal bars on either side of one of the seats. Honestly, people do not go above and beyond like this anymore, and I couldn’t imagine these looking any better! First pics are the new seats and last pictures are the old seats. 100% recommend!!!
Blair is a true craftsman and it shows in his work. I provided a detailed sketch of my vision for the chairs and he expertly followed the blueprint. He accepted the challenge of replacing the wheels when other upholsterers didn’t think they could do . The chairs are over 50 years old. Thank you for saving a treasured memory.
