DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. VERY POOR EXPERIENCE. My husband took my favorite Born boots in to get the heel refurbished/repaired. The material that wrapped the heel (like a suede-type kind of material) was peeling off after 12 years of wear. We received the boots back with gouges in the texture of the actual heel structure (there was no issue with the structure upon bringing them in, he butchered the heels) and a weird paint job (they were not previously painted), with dings everywhere. Very, very bad experience - please do not bring your favorite shoes here! I had to take the boots back twice to do the repair I asked for and paid for ahead of time - the repair was very, very poor quality on both pairs of boots. I think the owner is respectfully past his prime with regards to craftmanship and his assistant's work was very shoddy with no care put into repair it seems - there was glue all over one of the pairs of boots.

Boots were butchered, slippers weren’t done appropriately, way too expensive especially considering added damages. Shoes weren’t ready at pickup time and the owner didn’t call to communicate this, we only found out they weren’t ready when we arrived to pick up.
