Kris over at Concrete Chiropractor runs a professional operation. There was no delay waiting for a quoting visit like the foam companies. He sent clear instructions to me on how to take a handful of photos myself and he then promptly provided an estimate. Not just an email with numbers. He called to walk me through the scope of work and explain the “what” and the “why.” The two-person crew was scheduled and arrived within a week of that conversation. One was a longtime veteran who kindly performed additional checks while he was here to make sure there were no other voids waiting to cave in. He was prepared to address them at no extra charge since I had already paid for the trip, though fortunately none were found. The other was an early-twenties apprentice learning the trade for the next generation, it was nice to see them operate as a team. They did an outstanding job. The first photo shows the area where the floor had caved in about 2-inches over probably a 20 or 30 foot square foot area. They got it back to where it belonged as you can see in the second photo. The foundation they built for the floor covering team is shown in the third picture, it was a perfect outcome. It has been six months with cars going in and out, and not a single issue. What a great team! PS. Don't use foam, go concrete. This garage previously had foam pumping done, which failed, just months outside the warranty.
