This place is like a magic kingdom for music. I went in recently looking to buy a drum set and came out happier than a clam on the beach! Darren, who works in the drum department gladly gave up his time to assist me in finding a drum set for life. Because of his master skills and perfection of his craft I was extremely satisfied with my purchase. Another perk I found to be jaw dropping was the cymbal room filled with more cymbals than my dad can count! If you ever need a drum, I Highly recommend asking Darren for help!!!!! Great customer service, both in store and online. I used to come here as a kid, and it's comforting knowing that CLs is still around, and not only that, improving with age. The brands they have in stock means that this Maryland boy doesn't have to feel bad shopping online. But for anyone out of state thinking of ordering from CLs, know that it has been a local gem for decades, and your money couldn't be better spent elsewhere. Cheers. Jay S

I had an excellent experience at Chuck Levin’s. Pete responded quickly to my text questions and put the guitars aside for me as I drove 120 miles to the store. I came home with a wonderful guitar and some accessories. The store reminds me of National Camera Exchange in Minneapolis, where I worked for many years…many years ago. Stores like these that cater to a specific interest or hobby and carry this amount of gear are fewer and far between. Shopping online is a gift that keeps giving, but there’s nothing like checking things out in person. The selection at Chuck Levin’s is incredible as is their employee’s expertise. I can’t wait to make the drive down again.
