Why mail coupons if the associates don't understand how they work? I'll be shopping at Kipling & Bowles from now on, better selection anyway.

I like this store compared to larger competitors. In the big box stores you have to hunt down someone to help. Today I had 4 employees ask me if I needed help. On top of that, one guy offered to carry a heavy piece both to the register and to my car. Service is everything!
I was looking for what i thought was a hard to find item, a capacitor (yes that capacitor - FLUX). The 2 gentleman working were extremely helpful and friendly. Its nice to see that level of customer service. This happened a few months ago and because we're now in the future this review is relevant. Thank you gentleman for getting me back up and running. Gotta go, I'm sending this from the mall parking lot. Joking aside, for the 2 guys from Ace. If you read this I'm certain you'll remember my wife and I. Thank you for helping me get my sandwich shop oven back up and running. All I needed was a capacitor 👍🏾
I was just at this story and wanted to use my online gift card to pay, the women helping me did not know how to take that form of payment so she asked for help. The guy she called over was walking out the door at the time and when he came over just looked and said "oh they don't let us take those". He didn't even look at it. When I stated that I have used this form of payment at other Ace stores I was told that I could go online and place my order. Then he said "I am going to lunch". I understand the frustration of getting pulled away from going on your lunch break but when a fellow employee and a customer needs help it would be nice if you took more then 60 seconds to try and help. Instead all I got was nope we don't do that. I have been to many different Ace Hardware stores all over the state and I have never received worse customer service.
