Casteel Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical

We are beyond happy with the service we received from Casteel today. Our old water heater was on its last leg and needed to be replaced ASAP. Another company came out, charged an estimate fee, and scheduled an appointment, which they later cancelled and delayed. We called Casteel and they sent someone out the same day. Jamie, the technician, was super friendly and knowledgeable. He replaced the water heater the same day for a cheaper price than we were quoted by the other company. Casteel did a great job replacing our two air conditioning systems. Adam helped us pick the systems with the capabilities we wanted. He made it very clear what we were buying and what we were not buying. All Casteel employees on site for the installation were courteous and helpful. The quality of the work is outstanding! Hats off to Junior, Nick, Mohammad, and the others on the crew that day!!

Recently had casteel come out to fix an AC issue not cooling. They are Way Overpriced and I feel like not very honest. The first thing the tech told me was that first off you need a thermostat and its not covered under warranty. Reason stated it was not sending low voltage to outside unit. The price quoted for just the thermostat was 512, for a $150 part. Which means to install the faceplate, 2-3 wires to connect, it was going to cost $372 labor. Took him about 10 minutes to install so you can do the math on the labor rate. He tried to convince me the cost was high for a 3 yr warranty that they provide.
