We bought a house with a gas fireplace. I contacted Blue Sky Chimney for a cleaning. With some recommendations from Blue Sky, we ended up replacing the fireplace, (everything except the firebox and flue) chase cover as well as some gas lines and fittings behind drywall. Exceptional quality and workmanship. Great communication from Nichole. Professional service performed by trained, knowledgeable and personable workers, Nick and Thomas. They spread floor coverings from the front door to the fireplace and cleaned up as they worked. It was more work than we had anticipated. They spent several days and many hours on the project and we couldn't be happier. Our new fireplace is beautiful. We felt very comfortable working with Blue Sky and felt our money was well spent. Nick and his team did an amazing job removing two of our damaged clay flue liners, replacing with stainless steel flue liners, rebuilding fireboxes as well as installing rain caps. This was definitely not an easy job as our house is 100 years old. The day after they were finished, we had a torrential thunderstorm and were ecstatic that we had no leaks. They were so courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable Their attention to detail was amazing and is rare today. It was evident they take pride in their work, which we really appreciated. Also, Nichole was fantastic as she kept us well informed.
