No one wants to spend money on a new roof. But when you need one, you need one. And we needed one. We asked around for recommendations but could only find two people willing to recommend their roofing company. Most people told us who NOT to use. We called both companies and had each out for an inspection and estimate. The first company was here for 15-20 minutes and never left the ground. No close up inspection of what we needed. They were in and out. Lucky Mangione from Merritt was here for more than two hours. He walked every inch of our roof, inspected the attic, and told us before he left what we could expect for next steps. He followed through exactly as he said he would. He came back out to explain the proposal and quote. He explained thoroughly the steps involved in the installation. He made a special trip to bring samples of the shingle options when we asked for them. And our new roof was installed within a week of our signing the contract. It was finished in one day, with nothing left behind. We would use Merritt again in a heartbeat. We recommend you give them a chance to earn your business.

I initially worked with Lucky on the type of gutter guards that Merritt recommends and the pros and cons of each. I decided on the one I believe is the best, received an estimate and he followed up to get the work scheduled when weather permitted. I had done my research and gotten many estimates from other contractors and went with what I believe is the best product for the best price. Lucky communicated this morning, even when he was home sick, to be sure I knew the crew would be here and who I should expect. The crew was here this morning on time and I am very pleased with the professionalism and courtesy shown to me and my property. They cleaned everything up and hauled everything away. The project manager Garrett just came by to follow up and inspect the work was completed to their top standards. The overall process was seamless and I am reassured I chose a very reputable local contractor.
