Professional through and through. I asked them to install a 240v outlet in my garage. They reached out to me by phone and through the Thumbtack app; very personable and professional. We discussed my needs. They sent an electrician out for a site visit and we talked through some options. I found their pricing very agreeable and reasonable. Definitely recommend them for electrical needs.

I am writing this review on Christmas Eve because our brand-new upstairs HVAC system failed just days after installation by Black Diamond. We have been forced to move our family, including a small child, downstairs, completely disrupting what should have been a peaceful holiday. This is the second time we have worked with Black Diamond, and I regret giving them another chance. The first time, they rushed the job and failed to properly seal our downstairs system, causing it to pull air from our dusty, radon-prone crawlspace and circulate it throughout our home. “We had an appointment today with Black Diamond Experts to scope the kitchen drain at my widowed neighbor’s home. They scheduled us between 8:00–12:00. We heard nothing all morning, and then at 1:30 they finally called to say they would not be coming at all. Completely unprofessional and incredibly inconsiderate of our time — especially given the situation. We will absolutely be finding someone else.”

I hired Black Diamond to do some electrical work for a basement and bathroom remodel. They did an outstanding job on the project overall. They dedicated adequate staff resources to complete the job in a timely manner. They maintained their patience and integrity despite some unforeseen oddities and unknowns affiliated with the preexisting wiring in my home. One technician stayed late into the evening, more than he was expected too, trying to troubleshoot some issues he was facing.
