My appointment was scheduled within a reasonable amount of time. The plumber showed up on time and worked very hard to clear my frozen kitchen drain pipe. He was unable to get it open, but he did work hard and gave me advice on how to keep working at it to melt the ice myself. The ice buildup was worse than we thought, and the drain was not properly plumbed so it was near impossible to get the snake down. The very kind gentleman came out again and worked on it, redid the way the pipes were fitted together, validated that it is ice stopping the drain, and gave instructions on how to get the ice melted. The gentleman I worked with, Caleb and Maximus, we’re so very kind and accommodating. I definitely will call on them again as needed and would recommend them to anyone.

Out the door I was bombarded about a $160 fee that they added to my replacement of a hot water heater. The young man Caleb I believe was his name continued to speak to me about the money and speak innuendos about being stolen from. I told him that he needed to get downstairs and do the job! He made angry faces at me so much and so that I had to call a family member over because I began to feel uncomfortable. This young man and his colleague (Maximus) were more concerned about $160 than repairing my broken water heater in which I had no hot water for over 2 weeks! After checking the work AND the warranty the $160 was not supported with the claim from BL PLUMBING! I should not have been charged anything extra for my installation! I’m told that this company is black owned well it doesn’t represent my integrity as a black woman. I’m sooooo disappointed!!! Not to mention my water pressure has been off ever since the repair! And they didn’t push my file cabinet back in place and left the back door open and unlocked. I say this because I’m a senior and I shouldn’t have to have pushed that heavy object in it’s place! And if it wasn’t for letting out my dogs I wouldn’t have seen that the door was open. I checked overpriced because they charged me on top of my warranty. This is why companies go out of business! Because of thieves!!! And they can’t cover the shrinkage because it’s gone on too long before it is fixed!
