I had a 12 year oil furnace with a whole house heat pump. The existing heat pump developed problems due to component failure, scarcity of replacement parts due to its age, changes in A/C refrigerants a new heat pump was required. I got hardware and installation estimates from 4 local vendors and chose Bassinet. The first person a met from Bassinet was Anthony Kent. I was very impressed with his knowledge and thoroughness. He did not just recommend a replacement based on the heat pump I had, he performed a bottoms up analysis of system size based on the individual requirements of my specific house. Anthony was a master of matching OEM capabilities and equipment sizes to my system which was limited due to physical height restrictions of the heat exchange location on top of my furnace. Anthony produced a multi-page document identifying specific vendor equipment, accessory parts as well as customization required for my system, He also identified electrical components that would protect the heat pump from electrical supply variations. and also identified a whole house surge suppressor that would protect all the electrical equipment in my house. System installation was scheduled to allow me to take advantage of federal rebates that expired at the end of 2025 which I would have missed if Anthony had not mentioned it and Bassinet had not scheduled my installation immediately. The heat pump installation was led by Cam O'Loan with a support crew of 2, a lead electrician Dan Castro and his partner. The entire Heat Pump installation and inspection was completed within a few days including the electrical upgrades. Dan Basnett performed the final Basnett inspection It was a definite advantage to have all the trades to come from and be scheduled by Basnett. The Basnett office staff was extremely responsive and helpful.

All of the people I met from Basnett Plumbing and Heating were very professional and helpful. I felt so comfortable with such knowledgable and respectful people working to replace my original 67-year old boiler heating and hot water system. The plan they provided for moving the boiler from the kitchen into a dedicated utility closet was genius. The final product placed inside walls and along the intersect of ceilings, doors and closets caused minimal visual impact and will be easy to cover with a couple small soffits. It was well done and that shows in the final product. I'm so please with my new Viessmann Combi Boiler. Jake Basnett, Lead Home Solutions Specialist, is so very knowledgeable and he also has a wonderful personality. He was always willing to take a call when I came up with an additional "how will this work?" or "what does this phrase in the contract mean?" He thoroughly explained the transferable warrantees on the proposed boiler replacement for, a must-have with me needing to sell my house. What a great representative of your company! Zach Menard, one of Basnett's lead installation technicians, was quite knowledgeable, helpful, and pleasant. He really kept my 3-day project on schedule. He ensured the final product was beyond anything I could have envisioned, not just technically sound but visually pleasing, a true work of art. Daniel Castro provided the electrical expertise. The wiring and how and where he placed the wiring and plugs allows easy and logical access. He truly did an exceptional job. Samuel Dubois is an amazing professional, a great problem solver, and a very nice person. He was always willing to take the time to fully explain why something won't work and why a work-around will better fit the need. He knows his boilers, going through computer steps quickly and with great skill. He did an amazing job of creating replacement piping for my 8 67-year old radiant heat manifolds. I'm so very impressed. The rest of the crew knew their jobs but also took the time to be kind and respectful to this home owner. I felt comfortable leaving my home for a couple long scheduled appointments. They all gave me confidence in their work and honesty. Finally the office personnel Robin, Ramona, and Nancy ensured they provided accurate information, went out of their way to find the answers to my questions, and always treated me as a valued customer. They were always polite, friendly, warm, and sincere, something I didn't find in some of the other companies I interviewed. Their pleasant and knowledgeable presentation (and the Basnett food drive) was what initially made me decide to go with Basnett Plumbing. Basnett is an amazing company. We had a fantastic experience with Basnett and their installation of a mini-split AC/Heat pump at our home. From Anthony's visit to discuss options and provide a quote and Nancy's help with the contract and scheduling logistics to Josh, Frank, and Michael's expert installation, the entire process was top notch. Everyone was courteous, friendly, communicative, and highly professional. The installation itself was very well done. Plumbing and electrical lines were carefully routed and secured, and the finished project works flawlessly and looks great too. Throughout the process, everyone was careful to minimize mess and disruption, and left the site in immaculate condition. Josh and Michael were careful to explain the features, use, and warranties for the HVAC and electrical products installed, and a followup visit a few weeks later gave us a chance to get any other questions answered. We've worked with other contractors, but Basnett is absolutely the best. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and really care about getting things right. Even though they provide superior service, their pricing was very competitive, and their ability to cover all aspects of the project (HVAC, plumbing, and electrical) simplified logistics and allowed them to complete the entire project in less than a day. We're so happy we went with Basnett, and I highly recommend them to others.
