Avalos stone and landscaping

We cannot say enough positive things about Avalos Stone & Landscape. We hired Alvaro and his team recently to install terraced retaining walls on our property, to manage steep slopes that were eroding dangerously. Alvaro stood out from other contractors for his evident enthusiasm for his work- not only was his quote the most competitive, but also he took extra time to research our particular structural concerns and used the results to actually talk me out of a more expensive product. His willingness to engage in additional work and conversations with us stood out from other offerors, and we were glad to hire him. Alvaro was also very communicative about his process, sourcing, and scheduling, helping us feel less surprised by the inevitable pandemic-related delays. Even with those, he scheduled his team to work with us weeks before we were expecting, and they completed the first portion of work ahead of schedule. The entire team was friendly, prompt, and professional- and did beautiful work. The walls are absolutely gorgeous- including aesthetic and functional modifications Alvaro made on the fly (and consulting us)- all to a result even better than expected. We are thrilled for the slope stability and new planting space, and neighbors have been stopping by to ask for the company's contact information! The remainder of work is yet to be completed (due to pandemic-related sourcing delay), but given the professionalism and quality of work to date we are not concerned about the wait. We're looking forward to it! Highly recommend Avalos Stone and Landscape- we plan to hire them again for any future hardscaping/landscaping needs.

Absolutely thrilled with the retaining wall that Avalos built for us. They were the most competitive quote by far, and they worked very hard to get the project done. Alvaro, the owner, coordinated the removal and reinstallation of our AC Condenser as part of the project, handled the permitting, and made the process very easy. His team worked hard, including on a Saturday, to get the project finished before a large rain storm. I would hire them again in a heart beat.
