All City Appliance Repair

The first well rated place never called back to schedule and the second's scheduling app wouldn't work. All City called to schedule within five minutes of submitting the request. They came out on Saturday even though I told them it could wait until the next work week. And there was no up charge for weekend work. The fixes were simple in both cases and the friendly and polite tech told me what I needed to do to avoid the issues in the future. All for $150 ($75 for each appliance). I will use them again and recommend to others.

tl;dr -> they did repair. repair failed in 1 day. tried to reach, they said they'd get to back us, then blocked our number, twice. They visited our property for an ice maker + water leak issue. The water leak was fixed, the ice maker failed within 24 hours. I reached out multiple times to see if they can have the tech come back to take a look. They've mentioned that they'd get back to me but ended up blocking my number. How do I know, because I can reach them from my wife's phone. When I made the same complaint, they also blocked her phone. So, do what you will with that information, an organization that doesn't stand by the work they do, but opts to block their customers from reaching them when we're trying to reach them in good faith...

I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience with All City Appliance Repair. A few days before I was set to leave for vacation, my washing machine broke down (leaving a blanket sitting in a tub of water). I didn't have any experience with any local repair places, so I just took a chance on ACAR. I'm glad I did because ACAR surprised me by getting a technician out to me the day after I called. (I used to work in appliance service at Abt and next day appointments were rare!) But Mike showed up to service my Kenmore washer and knew almost immediately what I needed. Not only that, but he had just the part I needed in his truck, which surprised me given my Kenmore is older and Kenmores are notoriously difficult to service. In less than 90 minutes, I went from having a busted washing machine and stressing that I might need to buy a replacement to doing the rest of the laundry I needed to do. I'm grateful to Mike and All City Appliance Repair for getting my washing machine back in order so quickly. I'll definitely be calling them the next time I need an appliance serviced, and recommend them to anyone else who's in a bind.
