Overpriced. Reached out numerous times to get a better understanding of the cost I was charged, was promised a call back that never happened. One of the prongs were bent in my thermostat, Greg took a screwdriver and pushed the prong back up. The cost was $300. At the time I had a parent in ICU and needed to go so I just paid in the moment. 3 stars because the heat was fixed and Sequioa the representative who initially fields the calls has amazing customer service.
***EDIT: Just want to say that they blatantly lied in their response to this. Greg never reached out to me once on this matter, nobody did. I had to call their corporate office through Neighborly and even then I never got a call back. So they not only robbed me of over $1000, but they broke my thermostat, did nothing to correct it, and lied about it on this review. Grade A company! π€¬***
**This review is actually for less than 1 star**
Im honestly not sure what to say to get people to believe me and avoid this place, so Iβll just share my experience and leave the rest up to you.
Greg came out 3 separate times to fix my AC because it would randomly shut off. The first time, he fixed it and when I asked him what the issue was he said βa magician never reveals his tricksβ. Okay, Iβm quite literally paying you for a service, I am the customer, and you wonβt tell me what the diagnostic was? Cool, whatever. Issue persisted, and the second time he came out he said it was a βbad capacitorβ. $900 dollars later, the issue was still happening. Now Iβm upset. The third time he came out, I got a lesson on wiring for my thermostat, and was told the thermostat is my issue. He had ME βre-wireβ it the βcorrectβ way. I put it back the way it ALWAYS HAS BEEN, and he said that is now correct. Then when he goes to put my thermostat back on, he forced it into the backplate and broke a clip off. Now my thermostat has to be duct taped to work or it will shut off in the middle of the night. Not only did he not fix anything, he had the audacity to tell me I still had to pay the $100 and said he technically should charge me more for βre-wiringβ.
So not only am I out over a thousand dollars for nothing now, I also have to dish out another 300 for a new thermostat as they are only sold on EBay for this unit. Thanks, Greg! I think itβs time to retire my man!
And Aire Serve, save your breath writing back to this with your βwe strive to help our customers and we are sorryβ BS. Youβre lucky it would cost us more to take you to small claims for our money back than just dealing with the loss. I hope you guys shut down, I genuinely do. You have no business in peoples homes.
The service with Aire serve was phenomenal from the customer service to the actual installation. Mr. Perry and his team were polite and courteous. They ensured I k ew my installation stone and I was kept abreast of when the installation would take place. I even received a phone call the next day to ensure everything went well.
