Air 24/7

In 2020, Air 24/7 was paid in full to install a brand-new premium HVAC system in a 10-year-old home. The replacement of the existing HVAC unit was elective and preventative only, not the result of a system failure or other issue. I selected this company after seeing their advertising in a home magazine and reviewing their BBB and Google ratings. Seemed reputable… Within seven days of installation, my home began experiencing humidity control issues. Shortly thereafter, the attic drip pan overflowed, resulting in extensive damage to the home. The company returned to the home multiple times (more than 10) and ultimately replaced all the ductwork in an attempt to correct the problem. They did pay to cover some of the direct home damages related to the drip pan overflow; however, the compensation was insufficient to fully remediate. Despite these interventions, problems have continued to this day. After putting up the last piece of trim this week from the remodel. I decided to leave this review. While the initial incidents were disruptive, the more troubling issue has been the company’s complete withdrawal of support immediately after the one-year labor warranty expired—despite the fact that the issues originated directly from the installation itself. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this company. The installation was poorly executed, the system has never performed as promised, and post-installation accountability was lacking. This was not a “top-tier” service experience, and I would strongly advise homeowners to exercise caution and obtain multiple expert opinions before choosing this contractor. —— As of 10 January, 2026, the day after leaving this review — which was fair and metered in relation to the devastating total life impact of Air 24/7, an Upper Managment member contacted me and began to threaten me. They demanded I remove my review or else they would sue me. I suspect that is why they have no negative reviews a little suspicious. Air 24/7 claimed they paid or overpaid me for damages done by their installers which impacted multiple rooms in my home (requiring a remodel of almost the entire upstairs). My family was displaced from our home for months. The public deserves to know the nightmare Air 24/7 caused us, their conduct is irresponsible and may indicative of how they operate. But then again, perhaps it was a one off… Since they reverted to attempted coercion - “the act of forcing, pressuring, or intimidating someone into doing something against their will, often through threats, manipulation, or abuse of power…” to try to get me to remove this fair and accurate review, I intend to refer the matter to the Florida Attorney General’s (FL AG) Office. I want a full apology for ruining my home and for the attempted coercion; and at that time, I will consider the matter resolved in the interest of the Tampa community which deserves fairness and good service from providers And will make appropriate notes for public review. In the meantime, I’ll continue posting updates: Including responses from the FL AG’s Office. No one should face intimidation for posting a fair and actuate google review. It is against the law! Federal law (Consumer Review Fairness Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 45b–45c) protects consumers’ right to post honest reviews and prohibits businesses from threatening or penalizing customers for truthful feedback. I will leave it to competent government authorities to determine what laws, statutes, and regulations were violated today. But it seems a full attack on a single feedback post was an overreaction to say the least: My new Air 24/7 system has caused mold and mildew issues that were never present when I moved into the home just months prior to the install. Not in the inspector’s report... So now we have persistent issues which Air 24/7 fails to care to address, we are very disappointed. Photos to follow. Best service ever! I am impressed with Jorge and Miguel ! They are a great, kind and hardworking team! They worked very efficiently; with confidence, and non-stop! Both are very professional, and very knowledgeable, ensuring the perfect installation of a new HVAC System; thermostat, HVAC duct installation. Hunter the sales rep was very helpful and really patient with me; as I was asking so many questions, and even calling him on a Sunday to discuss about the best price and choice for my needs.
