Possibly a scam! So the first time I brought my Xbox series x in for an HDMI Port problem, they said it normally takes a full day to fix. I did bring it in on a Sunday later in the day so I said “that’s fine, maybe I’ll get it back Monday”. Close to a week goes by and only then do I receive it back, with the upfront employee stating that he can’t show me the console working at the counter, and he can only show a picture or video of it working. It did work for the short pic he took of it and when I came by to pick it up, they told me that it’s just difficult and timely to repair, which is fine. But why exactly say that on a full day you could normally get it done same day? To my surprise, when I brought it home, after spending $133 on the repair, it didn’t work with my monitor, it didn’t work with any of the tvs in my house, except the cheap insignia tv in my room, and even then it barely worked. Brought it back a day or two later with my monitor to see if it may be a cable issue. Two weeks go by and I call every couple days to get an update, only to hear that the person responsible for repairing, is on a business trip. Which, is fine, but why is there only one person doing repairs? Essentially anytime anything happens to the repair guy or he needs vacation or something work-related that isn’t this business, suddenly you have to wait even longer just to get a response back about something that should’ve been taken care of immediately. Again I call last night, they tell me, “oh, the motherboard isn’t working correctly, and the owner of the operation says we will not fix it.” I did get a partial refund, $40 back for an essentially unusable console now. So, do not go here if you value time, money, and service.
