Ace Chimney, Fireplace & Outdoor Living

I purchased my wood burning stove from them and had them install it, yesterday they came and inspected it and cleaned it. No complaints, wonderful job and people. Very easy to work with.

Jordan came out and diagnosed several issues on a property, and did an excellent job! He was very professional, timely, and respectful, explaining everything in a way that anyone could understand. I could not recommend ACE and their services more!

I’ll try to keep this as short as possible. We had Ace come out maybe a month or two ago to do a cleaning and inspection. When I was watching the cleaning I noticed that, just like the years before this, hardly anything came out because we don’t burn all that much and we make sure to use good wood. We’ve also had our chimney inspected routinely and there are never any issues with the soundness of the system. At the end of the inspection the guy tells us that we have all this stuff that has to be replaced, also that our chimney is encrusted with stage 3 creosote and that it is unusable unless we have everything replaced. Then seconds later while we’re trying to process what we just heard he asks us when we want to schedule all the work to be done. Needless to say the whole thing felt weird, and the guy was not helpful in answering any of our questions since this was so different than every other year someone’s come out. So after we paid them like 400 for what they just did, they left. I went and looked up the chimney with a flashlight and the chimney, I kid you not is clean as a whistle. Over the next week or two, I sent the company several emails and called multiple times to ask about the situation and I got no feedback. We were forced to pay another good company to come out and give us a second opinion and he was just as confused as we were when he inspected it. I mean, it looks like a used chimney but other than a few little tiny dots in a tiny area at the very bottom of the pipe it’s super clean and it’s nowhere even close to unusable. He was actually shocked to hear that it was Ace that tried to pull one over on us like that and by the fact that they wouldn’t even acknowledge my questions about the situation. It really sucks when people take your money and also try to take advantage of you as well. They love to hide behind the whole certification thing, as if having a certificate means that they also automatically tell the truth. We won’t ever use this company again.

The crew members were great. Polite, professional and very tidy. They did an exceptional removal and an installation upgrade. Hats off to Charles, Dustin and Omar! Thank you for your time and excellent work.
