Excellent service and knowledge!!! We took our 1929 Sessions mantel clock for glass replacement, cleaning and oiling.
Keith and Brian are so knowledgeable! They answered all of my many questions and showed us how it works. Our clock looks beautiful and is working perfectly! My dad had an antique clock that we will be taking for repair and cleaning etc. My dad would be so happy. I highly recommend!
So glad I found these wonderful gentleman who love their craft. Their work is impeccable. I inherited an antique French mantel clock, but in its journey here to the States, the pendulum was lost and the bird that crowned the top was broken off. Keith is an expert and he thoroughly restored my clock to its former beauty and working order, for a very reasonable price and it is now proudly displayed and chiming away (at the right time) in our home. We loved our 2 visits there with all the fascinating chiming clocks and we were amazed at the Winships' knowledge of all these time pieces. We totally recommend checking out the Winship's Pieces of Time shop for clock repair and sales.
Bryan & Keith are masters! Had a older Junghans Westminster clock in our family for years and they restored it. The clock wasn't meant for over 100 years but they restored the movement and even made custom steel gears. They outsourced the wood working and it brought back the shine and cleared up the wood damage. Fair pricing as it's a art and worth the wait! Kudos gents! PS - On top of that they told me the history of the clock and gave me a education for sure!
If you are an old soul like me who loves old wind-up clocks, then this is the place for you. Keith and Bryan are the proprietors of this wonderful clock shop located in the heart of Lansdale. Unfortunately, repairing old wind up clocks is becoming a dying art / lost skill. Keith has mastered this skill and has consistently shown his ability to repair many a clock I have brought to him including my Chelsea, Seth Thomas (pictured), Herschede and New Haven clocks. He does so in a methodical, highly skilled manner. He is happy to explain and educate his customers on what no longer works and how he will repair the clock's mechanics. Most importantly, he does it in a highly ethical manner by not trying to pull the wool over unsuspecting customer eyes by making false repairs to their family heirloom clock treasures. And he also replaces watches batteries cheaper than anyone else I have gone to ! After going to several other clock repair stores in PA and being disappointed, I highly recommend this clock shop to anyone in need of an old wind up clock repair!
