I don't normally leave reviews, in fact I can count on one hand how many I've left but the experience and product were so good I felt the review was earned. Don't get me wrong it wasn't cheap but worth every penny. I purchased steel fireplace doors with high temperature ceramic glass which can go up too 1400 degrees fahrenheit, they fit perfectly and look incredible. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable throughout the process. I was able to get 12 month special no interest financing to help with the payments. I ordered the doors on November 19th 2025 and they arrived January 3rd 2026, which is a very reasonable time frame for custom built fireplace doors. I'm very happy with my purchase 10 out of 10 would recommend.

We absolutely love our Wilkening Gran View fireplace. They were great to work with and the fireplace is our favorite part or our home. Creates beautiful ambiance during long winter nights and throws off a ton of heat to keep up nice and toasty.

For those of you who are interested in installing or converting an existing wood burning fireplace with an insert, I strongly suggest Wilkening Fireplace Co. Due to my age, I decided to convert my wood burning fireplace to a Mendota Gas Insert and contacted Michelle & Gary at Wilkening They both were so very helpful with guidance all through the process from selection to installation. Gary was most helpful by providing specific details / procedures as to what it would take to make the conversion. His many years of experience/ expertise were generously provided to make this project a complete success. Their commitment towards customer satisfaction was beyond expectations!
