Stopped in because of their sign stating they do watch repair. 1st off, they do not do watch repair. Sure, they adjust claps or can remove a link for you, but they know nothing about watch repair. A gentleman greeted me eagerly & asked how he could help. I explained I had a mechanical watch, and the crown was stuck and wouldn't turn when manual winding. It would work fine for changing the time and date, and the automatic winding still worked just fine, it was specifically the manual winding from the crown. He then proceeded to crank the crown hard enough to get it to grindingly turn, and then laugh and tell me he knows nothing about mechanical watches. So the man grabbed a several thousand dollar piece, cranked on parts he has no understanding of, and then laughed about it. When I got upset about this revelation and brutal action against a prized possession, I can only assume it was the owner came out of the back to tell me the man who just confided he has no knowledge of mechanical watches actually does have knowledge, and they ship out all mechanical watches for a third party repair service anyway. I left fuming mad, praying this shop didn't just turn a simple repair into a several thousand dollar paperweight because of employees taking actions they are not qualified or knowledgeable to take. They may do jewelry well enough, but I will never return to this store, and warn anyone in need of watch repair to seek help elsewhere.

I just want to give the biggest shout out to White Bear Jewelers. I had a rough start with my original engagement ring, it had structural issues and often needed tightening. Eventually I accepted that it would need to be reset to last forever. From the beginning I had went to white bear jeweler to get my ring cleaned and tightened. They offered me so many solutions of all types of budgets. They made me feel respected as we hadn’t gone with the most expensive choice for our rings in the begining. They always were so complementary and understanding. When I did decide to have my ring reset they spend several hours explaining all my options letting me browse their endless selections and making sure i was completely informed about all details of each possible choice. I ended up picking this half bezel set to keep some of the original design from my ring. This ring was ready in literally days. It is exactly what i had imagined. It is stunning and secure. The people here are just as fabulous and I had never expected to have such a wonderful experience. They truly gained a life long customer. If you have any ring needs I cannot recommended them enough!! Wedding planning is stressful and emotional and it’s people like this along the way that truly stand out and make it a wonderful experience.
