Western Mechanicsl is awesome! We woke up to a 62 degree house the other morning and my husband called WM, and they were at our house by 8:20. The tech was great and we had heat by 8:30. They made our call a priority and I REALLY appreciate it. Thank you WM!!
I had called a different fireplace company in the valley (I think chim chimney) and they wouldn’t even come look at my fireplace because it wasn’t a brand they service. I called western mechanical and they didn’t ask questions they just scheduled the service and are much more capable. Service only took an hour and it was fixed. Trenton was super friendly and informative.
Kevin was the tech that came by to install the fan wheel. He did not want to accept any assistance with the installation unlike Jace who came by yesterday. I kept pointing out things that I noticed he was doing wrong, and I tried to just hold things for him. But he kept telling me off for trying to help, saying to the effect that if I helped him then I may be voiding the warranty if things went wrong with the installation. At one point he even got a little heated before i just decided to 'stick my hands in my pockets' and just observed. One of the things that concerned me was the tangling of the wires when he reinstalled the motor and the cage box. He did not rectify it other then unplugging the motor wires and unwrapping them from the control board wires and replugging it. In reinserting the box, he did spin the box around resulting in the 2 brown wires wrapping around the control board wires. By this point I was just quietly observing as he worked, occasionally replying as he made conversation. Once the squirrel cage/fan box was installed and secured we test ran it and also made sure the heating system activated. Everything was closed up and cleaned up. And I walked him to his vehicle before Wishing him a good day.
