Everyone in my family - mother, husband, daughter, self - goes to Von Bargen's for special occasion jewelry that is wearable art of exquisite craftsmanship from interesting makers. My most memorable Von Bargen's shopping experience came when they stayed open late to host my husband and I, for a surprise wedding anniversary gift of a contemporary gold ring and band. I seriously thought he was taking me for a low key dinner... when we took the stairs up instead of down. Julie played matchmaker with my wedding ring in a way that is really special. Most recently, she helped me find matching gold chains for my husband and son - on almost no notice. I continue to be grateful for the family heirlooms we purchase from Von Bargen's, as well as the uplighting role the business plays in the VT and UV community.

I cannot say enough great things about Von Bargen’s. Every piece of jewelry I have from them holds such meaning - including my engagement ring, wedding bands, and special milestone pieces like celebrating the birth of my son. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with moments that important. The customer service is truly superb. I visit the Hanover location and the experience is always personal, thoughtful, and never rushed. I have used custom offerings to breathe new life into a ring that I had from my mom and it has become an heirloom piece that will now stay in our family. They also showcase smaller artists and each piece comes with a card describing the artist that made it. In addition they have their own studio offerings that are made locally. It truly is a family business with deep ties to the local community who care about their customers and their product- coupled with an eye for artistry and gem quality that goes above and beyond.
