Very impressed with this company. Our furnace stopped working and I called them in the morning. They had someone out a few hours later. The furnace was over 20 years old and they said they could replace the circuit board. They didn’t try to push me to buy a whole new furnace but quoted me on the price of a new one and it was much cheaper than I assumed it would be, so we went with a brand new unit. They came back out the next day and installed it. The installers were nice guys and courteous. All in all I would highly recommend them.

I used Universal Heating 12/09, to install a furnace in a commercial building. It was hastily installed without a vent to place a furnace filter. Took them to court and won. I tried them again 2017 to install a furnace in my home. I had to call them back as they did not wrap vents connected to the furnace. 2021, the circuit board had to be replaced. I get calls 10 times a year, from Mary, to clean my furnace. November 2025, turning on my furnace, 1st time since April 2025, there was a leak from "pvc" connected to furnace just over the electrical compartment. Russia came out a week later, said he would order new pipe to put in and also extension for the condensation tube, as it is cut too short, having to be stretched across the basement and anchored in the floor drained using bricks. It is not run properly along or around the wall, but rather, through a vent hole in the upper wall resulting in water pouring on the floor. November 17, 2025, I was informed Russ would be out to make those repairs Thursday, November 20, cause he was off Friday, November 21. Today, Thursday, November 20, Russia called saying he could not come due to too many heat outages needing service, but, he could come the NEXT DAY, the day he was supposedly unavailable AND there would be a SERVICE CHARGE to extend the drainage tube THEY CUT TOO SHORT and ran through a wall, which I mentioned in passing. I was trying to "deal with the mess-up!". As well, a charge for repairing the pipe dripping on the furnace. Russia hung up in my face when I asked why is poor installation issues attributed to me? I called back and spoke with Chad who was abrasive, saying Service Charges were not discussed until Russ spoke with him, cause someone may have bumped the pipe! I responded, I guess"someone" bumped the unwrapped vents 2017, the circuit board 2021, the improperly installed drainage tubing, at which point, Chad said, " We're not coming out. You are a problem customer and you call too much!". Now mind you, Mary calls me every year, as much as 4 times a month, to drum up furnace cleaning business! I suspect Universal is installing refurbished furnaces and poorly installing them. Chris initially installed both furnaces 2009 and 2017. I've tried to work with these people as recent as 2023, when the circuit board also went on the 1st furnace installed without a filter slot, forcing the furnace to work harder. I had to get Bethlam Heating to do a diagnostic. Universal is rude, unprofessional, not about customer satisfaction and quality service.

Universal installed both a new furnace and air conditioner for me. It was a pleasure to work with Chad. He explained all the possibilites and options. The selection was easy and the price was good. Since installation I have contacted Universal for routine maintenance and some issues I had with older gas lines. The company has been very responsive to my concerns and service was scheduled in a very timely manner. It has been a pleasure to work with Universal.
