Pure gold. They've been so solid for so many years. The vibe in their shop is very comfortable, despite having boutique quality instruments and service. Their staff is like family and they are always knowledgeable and attentive. After a recent service my guitar sings like it never has before. Sam worked magic with his adjustments and recommended perfect strings. The best.

Best music shop I've ever been to! My first experience was calling from another state and their warm and inviting staff were open to me hosting a gypsy jazz jam there since I was coming in from outta town. I was able to meet fellow musicians and a person working even demo-ed a violin for sale by joining us on a tune or two! The store is lovely! Well I've moved to Rochester now.. Today I got to meet John, the owner, who is super friendly and cool as heck! Even the customers floating through rock. And wouldn't you know it? They fixed my rattling guitar on the spot! This is a great place to buy an instrument. The staff here took the time to let me listen and try instruments over several different visits. I was looking for a classical guitar and they had several excellent new and used instruments available. I decided finally on a Cordoba C12 with spruce top. This instrument had a very balanced tone from low to high. Sustain was great, and I like the raised fretboard for playability up the neck. I also appreciated the lattice bracing construction and the adjustability of the truss rod, although these features are a little less traditional. From out of state I recently purchased a vintage Fender amp from Bernunzio Uptown Music after seeing it on their website. The gentleman were fun and pleasant to speak with on the phone as we exchanged stories and as I got all the information asked for and needed about the amp. The amp was promptly shipped and packaged in an extremely protected manner. Just wanted to let everyone know that I am very pleased with the purchase and I highly recommend this store!

Absolutely wonderful experience every time I do business with Bernunzio. I've bought two mandolins from them in the last 8 years, and they've been extremely helpful and courteous both times. I'll continue to come back!
