Stopped in with faulty headlights, was given several options, and went to work right away with option 1, which unfortunately didn't work, and resolved the issue with option 2 - so happy. I was in and out in no time, and I didn't leave with a big dent in my wallet. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, and I felt prioritized and well taken care of for my visit. Will visit again if I encounter more electrical issues.
After an honest, albeit foolish, attempt to tackle a suspension swap on my 2020 F-150 alone I found myself in need of a shop that could help clean up my mess and finish the project the RIGHT way and TuneTech delivered! From the initial call to explain my situation through picking up the finished product, they were super helpful, friendly and understanding. Not only did they get my front end sorted out, they even completed the rear set install and setup while replacing the rear brakes. Truck rides great and the work was done quickly and at a very fair price. Very pleased and will be back again - hopefully next time it's BEFORE I mess something up and need to be bailed out!
I did not have a great experience at tune tech. I would summarize the reasons as: expensive rates, lack of confidence in the repairs, and limited customer service. First, the costs are very high compared to other local shops. I paid 700 for a service that I later learned cost 200 at a different shop, and when I was quoted 5k+ for a different service, I went to a different shop that could do that service for 2,700. Second, the shop had my car three different times for the same issue. It ended up being a head gasket, but first they replaced the thermostat, I drove it and it had the issue again, I took it back and they fixed a fan, I drove it and it had the issue again after 2 minutes, and finally on the third visit they said it was the head gasket. By then I had spent over $1400 already, and still had a bad head gasket. I understand that sometimes it takes a few diagnostic steps, but from the start I kept asking if it was the head gasket and they kept confidently saying no. So I began to lose confidence that my car was actually being fully repaired. If they know that sometimes these issues can be from a head gasket, I wish they had been more upfront and clear with me throughout the process. I was not able to afford their head gasket repair (took it to another shop for half the price). So finally, when I spoke with staff about my experience, there was no apology or willingness to work with me on price. When I asked if i could potentially have some money refunded from the $1400 I had already spent with them on this issue and it was unresolved, they said no because they needed to charge full rate for those necessary fixes. The owner was contacted but was also not able to assist.
