They came out promptly, correctly diagnosed the bad drain pump on my dishwasher, and gave clear estimates: pump only, pump + install, or pump + install if I pulled the unit out first. I appreciated the diagnosis and their attempt to work with my recessed setup. I never got the dishwasher fully pulled out ahead of time. The technician helped extract it quickly but then needed the water shut off. I didn't know the exact location (it was in the crawlspace), so he came down with me to check. Once there, he complained about getting dirty and said this wasn't what he was supposed to be doing. He exited the crawlspace frustrated. I called a previous owner to confirm the shutoff, verified the water was off, ran faucets to test, and told him it might take time for residual water to stop. At that point, he declined to proceed with the install. He explained he wasn't making money on the job now, noted they're family-owned and prefer not to leave jobs incomplete, then left me with the new pump but no completed repair. I paid $220 for the service call and part. I installed the pump myself successfully afterward. For that price, I could have bought the part alone and done it from the start. Be cautious if your appliance has tricky access—jobs may not get finished if complications arise beyond standard expectations.
