When my truck overheated on I81 South at Hwy 36 Fort Henry Drive I had the good fortune in going to Top Performance Automotive. The day in question was a Saturday when most all garages are closed. After the tow driver dropped off myself with the truck ,Butch came by to go inside his shop for something. Seeing me standing there, he asked if everything was going well. I appraised him of my predicament and he put my vehicle inside his shop until Monday. The cooling failure was diagnosed and repaired before noon on Monday. Great people and service. Bravo! One of our vehicles broke down as a member of our family travelled through the area. I called the shop as an out-of-towner, near the end of their service day, with a broken down vehicle. This is the kind of situation that could easily be taken advantage of. Instead, the shop fit our vehicle into their schedule (even though it was near the end of their day), provided quality service, was very courteous, and didn't take unfair advantage of the situation at all. We were quoted a very fair price, and in the end actually charged less than the quote. Our experience was very positive, and we recommend that others consider this shop as well.
