I found this place after calling around to 3 different repair shops and was quoted 150-200 to repair my Movadi because they would have to send it out. Those quotes were over the phone, they never even saw the watch which was broken at a flea market by someone forcing a battery into the back of it. All because I wanted to save a few bucks. Well, I called Richard and he told me to stop in, which I did. He looked at my watch and told me that the part was so tiny but if he has one laying around he could attempt the repair and save me alot of money. Well he opened his handy little drawer of spare parts and with a tweezer pulled out the part that was needed. He repaired my watch while I waited.I was very pleased. We had some very nice conversations as I found him to be very knowledgeable, polite and extremely socialable. He then sized my wife's Movado, replaced both batteries and polished up both watches paying close attention to my wife's as it needed attention to buff out many scratches. I was there about 40 minutes and walked out paying nothing like I was quoted. The repair alone was only 40 or 60 bucks. The batteries, sizing and polishing was extremely fair and reasonably priced. I walked out knowing that I will definitely be using Time Palace from here on. I recently returned right before Xmas to sixe another watch and replace 2 batteries and once again Richard took great care of me. I highly recommend this place and have even spread the word and a friend is going to be calling him this week to find out if her grandfather's watch can be repaired and she lives in CT and is willing to take the drive in. I sure hope it all works out for her! Thanks for being a stand up and honest guy Richard!
