Last week I wanted to purchase an item and pick up later and was told NO…today a week later there was two pieces I wanted, one said sold and the other I was told was sold. This is not how you should treat and be doing business. This was very discouraging and disrespectful. I will not donate or purchase from this thrift store anymore.

Best thrift store on the island. They are kind and don't price gouge. I get that we live in Kodiak but it's ridiculous that I can buy stuff new at Walmart for cheaper than used stuff ~of the same brand and quality~ at some of the thrift stores on island. Salvation Army has really been organized and cleaned up lately too. I also appreciate that they are understanding with my kiddos when I have to bring them with me.

I always enjoy a visit to the thrift store. I have found some nice clothes here and am looking forward to the next time I get to go through their selection! The staff is friendly, as well, which is nice:) Side note: I also enjoy checking the lake for waterfowl when we stop by here, as it is right next to the lake!💁🏽♀️🦆
