I had a nice stay for 3 nights. The room was clean and cozy. We had a private bath plus a shared bath. There was a common room with TV and a kitchen. This is a guest house not a BnB so you make your own breakfast in the outfitted kitchen. Walk to hospital or grocer or local hikes. Taxi elsewhere in town. No complaints. No notes.
The Cranky Crow B&B is amazing. You will not be disappointed with quite location, clean rooms and Stephanie’s morning breakfast. If you are coming to Kodiak to fish, consider an ATV fishing tour with Saltrey Adventures. Stephanie can help with the arrangements. You will not be disappointed. Be prepared to get muddy, and wet on the 16 mile trek to the Saltrey river to fish. This is not a smooth ride for those who do not like to be bounced around. If your looking for adventure book it. The guides know the river and the holes for landing your limits for the day. A big Thank you to Stephanie for helping us find a place for an additional night as our flight was cancelled due to weather.
Very comfortable and accommodating owners. Breakfast was the perfect way to start the day. Quiet setting which made it relaxing. I met my daughter in Kodiak, she biked to the Cranky Crow and we walked around town. Did some shopping and had some great food. If you are going to Kodiak, ship the hotels and stay in welcoming comfort.
A perfect place stay in Kodiak! It felt like staying at a good friend’s house, with all the amenities you need for an outstanding Kodiak experience. I travel for work quite a bit and typically stay at hotels. Due to an event in town and lack of decent hotel options, I opted for the Crow, which was cheaper than the typical hotel room. It was such a nice change of pace; very personable host, super comfy rooms, and tasty meals and snacks. Would/will stay here again!
