The new Kodiak DMV road testing seems overly strict. We understand that points may be deducted for minor mistakes, but automatically failing someone for forgetting to signal feels excessive. It’s unrealistic to expect a novice driver to perform perfectly under pressure. A driving test should reflect both skill and growth potential not demand expert-level precision from the start.
They went above and beyond to get my son driving. We came in on Presidents day to do his road test! She even took the time to teach my son how to parallel park. Thank you so much!
What a nightmare...you better have literally all day if you want to get anything done. First, to be super clear it's not the poor person who works there that is the problem. They are doing their best for sure, but there's just one person in the office, it's ridiculous. The state needs to hire and properly train more people to work in the office, it's an embarrassment.
